CCG Supplies are a market leading healthcare focussed supplier.

We pride ourselves on supplying bespoke, tailor made quotes to all areas of healthcare – from GP surgeries and pharmacies, to Commissioning support units and GP confederations.

CCG Supplies are a 100% family owned business working out of our Head office in North Yorkshire. The business operates both nationally and internationally through a sophisticated courier network system, meaning we can deliver all stock items the next working day anywhere within the U.K.

Our Journey

January 2014
We Are Born!
The business very much started from humble beginnings on a small premises and an even smaller office space, funded with a modest initial investment from family inheritance passed down after the sad passing of a well-known local entrepreneur who happened to be Angela (Finance Director)’s Father and Ben (Managing Director)’s Grandpa. In the early days Angela worked 2 jobs, and Ben and Sales Manager-Will, drove the sales side of the company as much as possible. Angela would then take care of the finance side of the business in addition to her day job.

Full Steam Ahead
Fast forward just 6 months - Angela’s role grew at such a rate with fast increasing sales that she left her day job after 14 years of service and started ploughing full time hours into the finance and accounting side of the CCG Supplies business.

November 2015
Brand New Premises
The business had grown so much that it rapidly outgrew the original premises. In November 2015 the business signed on anew premises 4 x the size of the original premises. At the time this felt a bold move. We purpose built the office from scratch which was an exciting time for all involved with the company and we invested heavily in our phone and operating systems. This paid off and helped the business to once again be able to drive sales and take on new accounts.

Headhunted by Fortune 500
Our first bout of huge recognition came in the way of being “headhunted” by a Fortune 500 company-Samsung Electronics, to drive their Healthcare sales at a governing, GP and pharmacy level. We had huge backing from Samsung to get the project off the ground and it was hugely successful and an integral part of the business for a couple of years to follow. During the next 18 months or so, the business went from strength to strength. We passed the milestone of having over 1,000 customers within the UK’s NHS. We started to take on trade business and increase stock holding, improve on our systems, Increase our product portfolio and along with that came our reputation amongst the trade.

3 Purpose Built Premises
CCG Supplies LTD had rapidly outgrown the 2nd premises and had reached bursting point at the stage. The business needed to stock more product and buy more in bulk to be able to keep up with customer demand and as a result, we signed our 3rd premises in less than 4 years in business. Again, this new premises was 5 times the size of the 2nd premises. This was a surreal experience for all involved within the business and felt like a bit of a risk at the time. In the coming months, we ploughed yet more investment into the back end of the business - everything from phone systems to operating systems, fully managed networks, stock integration and added a couple of fantastic members to our team of specialists. The business continued to grow quickly and organically.

Doubled In Size
Just 8 months after taking a “risk” on the 3rd premises, we doubled our size again, meaning the business was 10 times larger than it was the same time a year ago. CCG Supplies LTD is now a market leading healthcare company, with thousands of customers nationwide including trade suppliers, GP surgeries, Health Centres, Pharmacies, Clinics, GP Confederations and Commissioning support units! We are immensely proud of what we have already achieved in the sector, however we fully understand the business has potential to keep growing along its current track. We have managed to grow the business without outside investment and we very much remain a small family business. We always approach business with a caring, professional attitude and we are very much all about “customer experience” - it’s our job to make our customers working lives easier.
